Sharing the Voices Presents Instant Choir
Instant Choir is a no-stress, no strings-attached singing experience for anyone. You show up, sing and have the best time ever! Working with an experienced song leader and an accompanist participants learn one well-known song. We learn the song, sing some harmonies, have a little fun and then perform the song LIVE online! Everyone welcome.
Doors open 6:30 p.m. Singing begins at 7 p.m.

Enjoy a fun-filled swim including toys, diving board, splash pad and slides at the new Paul Reynolds Community Centre.
Open to all ages. Children under 8 must be supervised by a 16+ year old, who must remain in the water at arms-length. Maximum 3 children to 1 supervisor.

Snow Play & Sliding Party
Grab the kids and come on out for an afternoon of fun in Bowring Park. Build, color and create in the snow, take a ride on the sliding hill and enjoy a free hot chocolate with friends and family. Please note this event is weather dependent. Slides will not be provided.

Community Sliding Time with Mark Critch
Join our honorary chair of the Victoria Park Foundation, Mark Critch for a couple of fun-filled hours of sliding at Victoria Park, the Little Park with the Big Hill. We’ll officially light up the sliding hill and recognize some of the generous donors who are helping us Renew Victoria Park and the Heart of Old St. John’s. We’ll have free hot chocolate compliments of Tim Hortons, and some surprise give-a-ways. This event is weather and snow dependent. Slide at your own risk. Visitors are reminded to play safely and obey the rules posted in the park.

Disco DJ Skating Party

Freezin’ Fun Run
2k adult course/ 500m kids (12 and under) course.
Outdoor fun for the entire family. Not ready for longer distances or just want to measure your current speed and fitness level? Bundle up and join us for a Freez’n Fun Run on the paved roads in beautiful Bowring Park. All runners will receive a medal and an official time. Start and finish at the West Gate. Adult 2km race starts at 9:30 a.m., Kids 500m race starts at 10 a.m.

Come in out of the cold and join us for an action packed afternoon of mega fun at Mega Play. There’ll be lots of free family fun with interactive games, bouncers, balloon twisting, reptiles a tot spot and a quiet chill out zone. Noise cancelling headphones will be available.

Parade of Lights
The Parade of Lights is all about getting outside, having fun and lighting up the night with dazzling color & shine. Meet us at the Peter Pan statue where we will kick off our parade. We’ll be joined by our friends from OZFM, St. John’s Regional Fire Department, Waterford Valley CheerLeaders, and a cast of costumed characters. This event is weather dependent.

ChillFest Community Parnter Presents: Easter Seals Inclusive Youth Dodgeball Tournament
Ages 13-18. Coed teams of six. One youth of the opposite sex must play to make it a coed team.

Easter Seals NL is the first organization in the country to offer a fully inclusive dodgeball league, and set of tournaments, that include both persons with disabilities and abled body players to participate on the court at the same time. Dodgeball Canada is working very closely Easter Seals NL to create an initiative for adaptive sport, which will be implemented by World Dodgeball in places such as Australia and Bangledash.
