As part of the Cupids 400 celebrations and using rare original documents and archaeological artifacts of the era, the exhibit explores the early decades of English colonization in the region and the impact that the first generations of English Newfoundlanders and Labradorians had on the province.

"Easy Down Easy"
Lewis, an acclaimed university professor, scholar, and trouble-maker has abandoned his former life and has moved to the hillside with his muse partner Johanna and little more than the clothes on their backs and fire in their souls. No histories, no questions, starting fresh. But the haunting in Lewis’ world is one that he cannot escape, no matter how high of a perch he climbs. Pinsent reminds us that you can never truly run away from yourself, or your past, in this gripping, astounding new piece.
A haunting and compelling ghost story along the lines of “Sixth Sense,” this story illuminates the fact that one never knows when the past will rise up, demanding justice. Every word and image is prime Gordon Pinsent. You will want to see this elemental production again and again.
