Drop by St. Michael’s Printshop on Sunday March 10th from 4-6 pm to meet artist Lynn Taylor as she discusses her practice and hear what she is planning for her craft residency in Port Union.
New Zealand printmaker, textile and book artist, Lynn Taylor (Dip Tch, Bed, BFA, MFA) explores nautical and historical themes to create prints, objects and surfaces that are layered and invite touch. Much of her practice revolves around collaborative projects stemming from her years of teaching both graduate and middle school students. She has exhibited in New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Korea, the United States, Argentina, and she enjoys an ongoing connection with Scotland from The Westland Project.
