About the Fun Trail Runs:
Our weekly Fun Trail Run routes will be an “Out and Back” so it is accommodating for all abilities! You choose the distance and your speed! Although there are set turn around points, runners are encouraged to turn around at the 45 minute point if they do not reach the half way point in time. Most runs will average an hour, depending on group size and abilities.
There will always be a lead runner so no one will get lost or get away from the group, as well as a ‘safety sweep’ so no one falls behind or is left running by themselves. Each route will offer it’s own level of difficulty between technical terrain and elevation changes, however as mentioned earlier this format is designed for all levels of abilities.
Advanced runners will find running partners to match their pace and a social community of support.
Those out trail running for their first time will receive advice on technique and trail running basics which is a part of the Salomon Running “How to Trail Run” Workshop series.
You will need register for each of the upcoming dates so we can all be safe, organized and leave together, and most importantly have fun! (as well as have an accurate guest list).
