Young Scientist is a program for children ages 5-8 and their caregivers to learn about science through crafts, games and hands-on activities. Children and their caregivers will be seated as a bubble at their own table and given their own supplies for each activity. Then, take a walk outdoors to deepen your understanding! Join us every second Saturday for a chance to learn about a new topic.

Learn more about roots, stem, and other plant parts at Young Scientist and help us plant next year’s Garlic crop!

Roots and Shoots: The leaves might be falling off the trees, but the roots are doing all the important work of storing nutrients for next year! Roots can survive the cold, quiet winter underground and come to life again in the spring.

Join us as a bubble with 1, 2 or 3 children and up to 2 adults. Please note that we cannot accommodate groups larger than 5 given the physical distancing requirements in our space. Trail Keepers enjoy a members discount on this program. Please log in to access your discount.
