Young Scientist is a program for children ages 5-8 and their caregivers to learn about science through crafts, games and hands on activities. Children and their caregivers will be seated as a bubble at their own table and given their own supplies for each activity. Then, take a walk outdoors to deepen your understanding! Join us every second Saturday for a chance to learn about a new topic.

Seeds: Some are as small as a grain of sand and others can be larger than your hand! Seeds came in many shapes and sizes. They are baby plants just waiting to sprout and an important food for birds and squirrels – and maybe for you too! Come uncover the mysteries of seeds at Manuels River!

Manuels River is a non-profit, registered charity. We are committed to environmental conservation, science education, and community recreation. Any admission or program fees go directly toward helping us fulfill our mandate and to the upkeep of the Manuels River community walking trails.
