We’ve had the most perfect fall this year in St. John’s. With all of the leaves changing (and not too much wind to blow them away), our parks were the perfect place to see their beauty!

Victoria Park

This hidden gem lies on the west end of Water Street. Though a small park, it’s filled to the brim with gorgeous trees. Victoria Park has a playground and dog park for families to enjoy!

Grab a decadent coffee and snack to go at Water West Kitchen next door and stroll through the park. Take a rest on one of the many victorian style benches. There is a lot of history to learn on the Victoria Park STORYWALK app.

Bannerman Park

Bannerman Park is located in and truly is, the heart of the city. There are trails that wind through the trees and expansive grass fields to picnic and relax. With a playground right in the center, there’s fun for the whole family. Don’t forget to bring your hammock!

Bowring Park

Bowring Park just might be our all-time favourite park to visit in the fall. Walk under the rainbow-covered leaves or relax on the riverbanks. As the city’s largest park, there’s something for everyone here.

Bowring Park has a playground, dog park, and wheelchair-accessible trails.
