The Paul Pope Legacy Fund has been established to honour Paul’s many contributions.
Its purpose is to support individuals, groups or organizations based in Newfoundland and Labrador that advance the causes and interests that Paul advocated for during his life, particularly in the fields of film, television, theatre and the arts community of Newfoundland and Labrador.
In support of this Fund, we are pleased to announce the 1st Annual Paul Pope Memorial Golf Tournament.

Paul Leslie Pope (1958-2022) was a prolific film and television producer who worked tirelessly to support the arts community of Newfoundland and Labrador. His enthusiasm, calm manner and endless patience, along with his trademark sense of humour, were instrumental in the creation of the film and television industry in Newfoundland and Labrador. He was also a passionate voice for independent production on a national level, helping to ensure that Canadian stories are brought to the screen. As a producer, director, mentor and friend, Paul shepherded countless productions into being and helped launch many careers. He was an enabler in the best sense of the word.
