Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society (CMOS) Annual Congress

The Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society (CMOS) is the national society of individuals and organizations dedicated to advancing atmospheric and oceanic sciences and related environmental disciplines in Canada. The Society’s premier event is the annual scientific congress, attracting hundreds of participants from across Canada and around the world.

This year’s Congress theme is “Connecting on the Rock: From the Marine Environment to the Blue Economy.” We anticipate over 600 in person and virtual participants from across the country to gather as we explore the connection between science and society, particularly with respect to a better understanding of extreme events and fostering a blue economy.
