The international hit Olivier-winning and Tony-nominated musical Come From Away returns home in a concert version to be presented at the Steele Community Centre in Gander and Mary Brown’s Centre in St. John’s. This 100-minute concert production will reunite members of the Toronto cast and band along with original Broadway cast member Petrina Bromley.
Come From Away takes you into the heart of the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded passengers and how the people of Gander, Appleton, Gambo, Glenwood, Norris Arm and Lewisporte welcomed them. Cultures clashed and nerves ran high, but uneasiness turned into trust, music soared into the night, and gratitude grew into enduring friendships.
The Come From Away concerts will be presented in Gander, Sept 13-15 and St. John’s, Sept 19-20 at the as anchor events for Come Home Year 2022.
