About Community Culture Circle:Ā

Community Cultural Circle welcomes individuals of all walks of life. Its purpose is to introduce participants to the rudimentary concepts of Indigenous traditions through teachings, sharing knowledge, and participation in ceremony. Participants engage in an introduction talking circle, a smudging ceremony, and First Nations drumming as well as receive teachings for each of these practices. Community Culture Circle allows a safe, nonjudgmental space for community members to come together, share their stories, and enjoy each other’s company as they connect with the roots of Indigenous culture. It allows spiritual connection to ourselves and/or the Creator, reflecting upon a holistic approach to self-care and self-exploration through an Indigenous lens.Ā
