On June 11th cyclists will take part in the Myeloma Canada Ride event to raise money to support the pursuit of curing and preventing the disease, accelerating access to the best care, while empowering and improving the lives of all Canadians affected by myeloma.
Cyclists will choose from two scenic routes
1. The shorter 40km route starts at the Quidi Vidi Brewery and heads to downtown St.John’s connecting with the T-rail system. Riders will follow this trailf for about 20km reachinf Neil’s Pond before turning around and heading back to Quidi Vidi Brewery.
2. The longer 80kmroute starts at the Quidi Vidi Brewery and heads north to Pouch Cove then flows southwest giving riders a beautiful costal view as they make their way through Portugal Cove and back towards Quidi Vidi Brewery.
- The event will come at a cost of $50.00 and will include food, hydration and a chance to win some prizes.
- This is a fundraising event so we hope all participants will try to raise some important funds for this cause… a soft target is $350.00 per cyclist.
