The 2022/2023 NSO Recital Series is brought to you by Idea Factory.
The award-winning Atlantic String Quartet is comprised of the principal string players of the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra. The ASQ is an integral part of the creative life of the St. John’s community and is known for its versatility and ability to work with music and musicians from all styles and genres. The ASQ performs around the province and each season presents a 4-concert recital series.
Recital 2 features String Quartet in G minor, op. 74, no. 3 “The Rider” by F. J. Haydn; Phantasie for String Quartet, op. 12 by F. Bridge; and, String Quartet no. 5, op. 27 by M. Weinberg.
Recital 2 takes place at 8pm on Sunday March 23, 2023 at the D.F. Cook Recital Hall.
