Orange Shirt Day is this Friday!
First Light will be holding a short prayer release ceremony, at the Pippy Park courtyard at 6:00 pm on September 30th.
This event is open to the public, and will hold space to honour & commemorate those affected by the residential school system.

What
A PUBLIC event will follow the private community gathering. This will provide an opportunity for members of the general public to come together in a spirit of reconciliation to release prayer ties into a fire. There will be Inuit and First Nations drumming and ceremonies.
