Public Conference on Cancer will engage public members, cancer-affected individuals, researchers, and healthcare providers in conversations related to cancer in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The aim of this conference is to exchange knowledge and perspectives on:
- Cancer screening programs available to the residents of NL and the Provincial Cancer Care Program’s services
- Lived experiences of cancer patients and family members
- Importance of patient involvement in researcher partnership, public events, and healthcare improvement
The conference is free and open to the public for participation & engagement through a virtual platform to allow province-wide access.
