Root Beer Float Day

The Fairfield by Marriott, St. John’s invites you to partake in our Root Beer Float Day on Wednesday, August 10^th at 199 Kenmount Road from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Fionn MacCool’s will be joining us on Wednesday, hosting a BBQ selling hotdogs and hamburgers.

100% of the proceeds will go to the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Root Beer Float Day is a nod to Marriott’s beginnings when company founder, Bill Marriott, Sr., and his wife Alice opened two root beer stands in Washington, D.C. in the 1920’s. Marriott associates and guests have raised over $120 million in the last 38 years through a variety of events and activities.
