Come all ye and I’ll spin a yarn…On Tuesday, September 19th, seven of Canada’s finest folk musicians will join forces for a very special concert, weaving together story songs and tunes from home and away.
The show will spotlight beloved local legends Matthew Byrne, Jean Hewson, Christina Smith, Gerry Strong, Billy Sutton and Jason Whelan as well as Cambridge, Ontario’s Allison Lupton.
The concert will also include the debut of “Step Up Molly”, a song by Lupton about the young women who were recruited from Newfoundland to work in the Dominion Woollens Mill in Cambridge, ON during WWII.
