It’s time to get your undead dance moves ready because we’ve got a spine-chilling surprise for you! đź•şđź’€

Our undead crew is summoning all the thrill-seeking zombies to join our first ever St. John’s Zombie Fest on Friday, Aug. 25th and/or Saturday, Aug. 26th to seize control over downtown for a mini zombie festival.

For a truly haunting experience join our growing troupe of zombies and attend some or all of our scheduled events!

* Learn Michael Jackson’s Thriller choreography and join our flashmob
* Take part in a zombie make up and costume tutorial
* Zombie Walk through the pedestrian mall
* Thriller Flash-Mob performance

Pixy Mama will be on site both Friday and Saturday offering a Zombie Make Up Tutorial! She’ll show you two different styles, a dramatic look and one more subdued, and then we’ll do our own zombie make up!

We’ll have make up, brushes and sponges for people to use, however feel free to bring your own!

For the costume tutorial, bring some light coloured clothing you can slash up and put on. We will have some extra shirts on hand for you to zombify as well.

Neighbourhood Dance Works (NDW) is Newfoundland and Labrador’s primary source of dance. We are dance presenters, dedicated to creating inclusive and welcoming spaces that gather together dance practitioners, audiences and supporters. Since the organization was founded in 1981 we spearhead initiatives that put NL on the national stage, helping showcase the diversity of our dance community. NDW is proud to be on the leading edge of Canadian arts presentation, and proud to be the organizers of the Festival of New Dance.

NDW is also the host of the annual Zombie-Grams! Bookings and sponsorship for our October 2023 season will go live on Friday, August 25th!
