“One of my all-time favourite places to go is Cuckhold’s Cove (in between Signal Hill and Quidi Vidi). Don’t let the name fool you – it’s an adorable little cove that’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but within walking distance of downtown. It’s a great place to bring a picnic, go whale watching or look for foxes, pick some blueberries and pretend you’re the only people in the world. ”
What could be more symbolic than an infinity shaped skating loop at Bannerman Park. Located in the heart of the city, the park in the summer is a beautiful place to walk and sit amongst sculptures as you enjoy a scoop of melting ice-cream, but in the winter it transforms itself. The flooded walking loop becomes a magical experience to strap on skates and wobble along together. The park offers free public WiFi, for easy selfie-sharing.
